Our Purpose
Health Outreach to the Middle East (H.O.M.E.) is a Christian, interdenominational organization that exists to offer physical and spiritual healing to people in need in the Middle East by providing medical care and education.
Biblical Mandates
The mandate to "offer physical healing"
"[he] healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: 'He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.'" Mathew 8:16b-17
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5
The mandate to "offer spiritual healing"
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." Isaiah 61:1
The mandate to "share the healing message of Jesus Christ"
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
The people in the Middle East have desperate health needs: both physical and spiritual.
